In celebration of all that our kind supporters have helped us accomplish over the years for animals; we created a special event that takes place around the date that Anna C. Briggs founded The National Humane Education Society (NHES) on September 15, 1948.
We celebrate the mission of fostering kindness to animals in children and adults and spread awareness about our adoption center, Briggs Animal Adoption Center, and spay/neuter program, Spay Today, by hosting family-friendly activities each year.
Mark your calendars to join us on for a fun-filled time on Saturday, September 13th from 11am-3pm with a rain date on Sunday, September 14th. Expect raffles for prizes, kid's activities, the anticipated color run (this year t-shirts are available to purchase for the run, you can order them online here), and most importantly meet adoptable dogs and cats.
We have a new activity this year, Founder's Day Camping Fun. Space is limited so please reserve your spot today! You can reserve your spot here at: www.nhes.org/foundersday
