The Nature Club Dine and Discover: Atlanta Coyote Project

oin Dr. Chris Mowry of the Atlanta Coyote Project to learn about the biology and natural history of coyotes. Chris will also share some of the scientific research the organization conducts centered on coyotes. This research includes studying coyotes as part of the larger southeastern wildlife community, as well as looking at the coyote’s recent colonization of barrier islands in Georgia and South Carolina.

Chris is a Professor of Biology at Berry College and has lived in metro Atlanta since 1982. His work with coyotes began in 2002 and he teaches courses in zoology, behavioral ecology, and conservation biology. Along with his colleges he founded the Atlanta Coyote Project in 2015.

Attend in person at 7PM in the CNC Plaza Conference Room and bring a dish to share for the potluck. Make new friends and connections at Nature Club while learning all at the same time. The presentation will begin at 7:30PM.

Ages 16+. $10 general public / $5 CNC Members. Advanced Registration Required. Register by Wednesday, August 27.
