Coaches Chad Goodwin and Candice Hughes
Chad Goodwin is an experienced professional with more than 14 years of expertise in developing figure skating, power skating and learn to skate programs. He has worked with many players/teams with Jr Golden Knights and Kraken Youth Hockey Associations. Skating coach with Whitefish Prospects Hockey and has successfully launched skating initiatives for the Seattle Kraken and Vegas Golden Knights. Grew up playing hockey then transitioned to figure skating. Four-time Canadian National Competitor and three-time Sectional Champion. His distinctive combination of hockey and figure skating knowledge offers a new viewpoint on skating skills for hockey players, making him a valuable asset to any team and player.
Candice Hughes has a background in competitive figure skating and many years coaching power skating experience for teams/players of all levels. By breaking down the skills, using progressions and demonstrating proper technique allows for players to better understand what they need to focus on. Along with her experience in the fitness and rehabilitation field, Candice has attained a great skill set and knowledge for helping players improve in their overall performance.
