Ahoy, mateys! Aaaaare you up for a new paddling challenge? Hit the high seas of Whalon Lake to see if the pirate life is really for you. We will need all hands on deck to join a crew, compete in buccaneer games and search for buried treasure. Up on your pirate slang? Paddling skills? Quick at deciphering maps? Yo ho ho, this paddle will separate the scallywags from the seadogs.
Fee: $20 per person.
Age: Ages 13 and older.

Pirate attire is encouraged, as well as wearing shoes and clothes that can get wet. Donβt forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle.
Previous kayaking experience is required as this is a recreational program and not an instructional paddling program. All equipment is provided, including personal flotation devices.
This program will take place on a mowed lawn accessed by paved pathways, and kayaks will be launched from a paved boat ramp. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online ( https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
