The City of Irvine invites the community to help shape the future of Heritage Community Park by participating in a series of workshops beginning this month.
The first workshop will take place Monday, July 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Heritage Community Park, offering a unique opportunity to explore the park during a walking tour and interactive discussion. Participants will join facilitated group tours to learn about existing programs and services and share ideas and feedback to help guide future priorities for the park.
The walking tour will begin in the area between the lake, Irvine Fine Arts Center, and Heritage Park Community Center.
An alternative stationary tour will also be available to ensure the workshop is inclusive and accessible to all. Large print maps and photographs will be provided for participants in this work group.
To sign up for the workshop series and learn more, please visit the City website at bit.ly/456KeKn.
Additional workshops will be held Thursday, August 21, and Thursday, September 18, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Heritage Community Center multipurpose room. Each workshop will build off the previous session; residents are strongly encouraged to attend all three. All ages and abilities are welcome.
