The Parable of the Prodigal Son
One of Jesus' favourite ways to teach was to tell short stories, called parables, that set forth truths about God and His kingdom. One of the most well-known of these parables is that of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32). Its themes of rebellion, repentance, forgiveness, reconciliation and restoration, along with bitterness, resentment and jealousy—all in the context of family dynamics—give this parable tremendous emotional appeal at a universal level.
We invite you to join us for an evening of exploring what Jesus is teaching us about God and ourselves by means of this powerful story.
When: Tuesday, July 29th at 7:30PM
Where: Bridletowne Park Community Church
