This Coeur d'Alene area gardening class will cover the essentials of maintaining a true homegrown garden while amidst a beautiful & working garden in its peak summer abundance. We will go over basic W**d and pest control using chemical free alternatives, ground vs bed planting, harvest timing, and general care for your garden during its peak abundance. August 20, 6-8 pm. Athol, ID. Women only.

I'm Sarah Rodriguez and we have a small but mighty family farm in Athol Idaho we lovingly titled Pick Earth Farms. Learning early on that the garden was my happy place, I submerged myself in learning all the do's and don'ts of growing a successful garden. Not only nourishing my family one veggie and herb at a time, but also how to share that with friends, family, and community in different ways. Starting over a decade ago with nothing but a patio rental in Los Angeles to building our dream garden here in North Idaho from the ground up.
