Community Heart & Soul introductory meeting

The Paradise Area Community Foundation (PACF) has received a grant from the Orton Foundation to engage township residents in identifying what we love most about our community, what future we want for it, and how to achieve it. PACF has been working with Whitefish Township, the Chamber of Commerce and other civic leaders to review the process and determine how our community might benefit from it.

Community Heart & Soul is an ongoing process that provides municipal officials with a clear understanding of what matters most to their constituents–all the residents–and forges a partnership that builds on the first thing everyone has in common: they all live here. It’s not a report that sits on a shelf; it’s a way of coming together to make your community a better place to live in and visit.

Whitefish Township will host a meeting for residents to introduce the process and to assess interest in moving forward. The meeting will be at the township hall on August 2nd at 5:00. We’ll have pizza and salad for you to enjoy with your neighbors. Please come to learn and help us decide if now is the time to undertake this project. In the meantime, you can learn more about Community Heart & Soul by downloading an overview of the process ([ https://www.communityheartandsoul.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/CHS_Overview_.pdf]( https://www.communityheartandsoul.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/CHS_Overview_.pdf)).

Let’s come together and define the future of our community. We hope to see you on August 2nd.
