Day of Commemoration of the Great Upheaval of the Acadians

Please join the Acadian Odyssey Commission and Assumption Life at Fort Anne NHS to mark this special day commemorating the Great Upheaval. The Commission will also be unveiling the donor recognition panel honoring those who contributed to Assumption Life’s fundraising campaign.

A ceremony will begin at 2:30pm in front of the Acadian Odyssey Monument, which commemorates the Acadians deported at Fort Anne. A reception will follow the ceremony.
