SUP friends! The most wonderful time to experience the saltmarsh is at low tide sunset! This will be a can't-miss event. With low tide and a waning gibbous moon, we will have the dropping tide current carry us out to the sandbar. We should have plenty of time to relax and enjoy before the rising tide currents carry us back to the starting point. This is a proven beginner-friendly route, with the weather being the only variable.
As always, life jackets and lights are required. Boards and phone cases with leashes are recommended.
*Please bring lights, glowsticks, and fun neon outfits -- we want to stand out for safety and fun.*
Contact me or reply to this post if you have any questions or need gear; there are friendly members that are willing to loan you some. We will start by 6 p.m., so if you need to inflate your board or load gear, please arrive early.
All skill levels are welcome. This is a proven easy route when the wind is below 10 mph.
