Join us for a night of Robin Lane on Sunday, August 10 with a full band at Floodwater Brewing Company. Doors open at 6:00, show starts at 7:00.
Robin Lane is a singer, songwriter, performer, and teacher. She began her musical career singing with Neil Young on the Everybody Knows This is Nowhere album. She then went on to form her renowned band Robin Lane & The Chartbusters, whose hit single "When Things Go Wrong" was the eleventh video broadcast on the debut day of MTV. In 2010 Robin founded Songbird Sings, a nonprofit which helps survivors of violence, work through and recover from trauma through the healing powers of songwriting and creative collaboration.
Robin will be joined by John Sands (long time drummer for Aimee Mann who also plays with Lori McKenna, and played with Lisa Marie Presley and Liz Phair); guitarist Peter Hoffman (played with Willie Nile, Tom Rush, Chuck McDermott), and basist
Richard Gates (Dar Williams, Suzanne Vega, Paula Cole, Richard Thompson).
