Emotional & Social Intelligence Training w/ ISU Police Dept's Sgt. Mike Gardner

Learn more about how to develop your emotional and social intelligence with presenter, Sgt Mike Gardner with the ISU Police! Topics for the training will include: improving emotional resilience, effective management of one's own emotional state, how to enhance interpersonal communication skills, how to build cultural awareness, how to reduce implicit bias, and learning strategies for de-escalation of tense situations.

Training will take place at the ISU Alumni Center on Thursday, 9/11/2025 from 9-11 am.

The event is sponsored by the McLean County Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC), BN Parents, and the ISU Office of Health Promotion and Wellness.
