The core elements may be something you’re already familiar with! The rest comes from the Dungeon Master, who guides the story and the characters you meet on the journey.
Purchasing books and material is not required to participate, however all are welcoming to bring what they have for their own use. Polyhedral dice and printouts (worksheets, rules, tools, etc) will be provided for you at the library’s expense. We’ll be using a simplified version of 5th & 6th Edition DnD by Wizards of the Coast, making it easy for newbies to join and returning players interested in playing the basics.
The group is playing the introductory campaign from Dungeons and Dragons 6th Edition. 1 session every other week for 4 weeks, July 8, July 22, August 12 and August 26. This is a structured game with a connected storyline and mission, intended to be played over multiple days. If the practice runs were TV shows, then this is the made-for-TV movie.
