Smithson Benefit - August 9, 2025
June 16th the Smithson family suffered the traumatic loss of Casey & Angelin Smithson. They left behind 4 children - Layla (16), Chloe (10), Jasey Reigh (9), and Zachary (9 months)
The profits of this benefit will be used to give these babies all they need and a little of what they want. Years of birthdays, Christmas holidays, extra curricular activities, Highschool graduations, college graduations, future weddings, and everything else that comes along the way.
So here’s a little bit about the children:
💜 Layla Marie is going into her junior year at BHS. She participates in Color Guard, archery, and cross country. Layla likes to spend her time going on walks with her big dog Apollo, and expressing herself in creative outlets. Her goal has always been to be a Vet, and we look forward to helping her achieve it.
🩷 Chloe Leila is going into the 3rd grade at BES. If you knew Linda Carol, this child is a true descendant of her. She loves all things shiny & sparkly. She is every bit of sweet & sassy. She participates in cheer and dance at Jody’s dance studio.
💙 Jasey Reigh is also going into the 3rd grade at BES. Jasey’s got one goal in life - and it’s to have a farm. Her most prized possession is her pet pig, Babe. We hope that we can get her involved in 4H in the future!
💚 Zach is now 10 months old. He is such a sweet and happy baby boy. He loves his sisters so much! We are enjoying watching his personality unfold.
The children have been attending chickenbone Baptist church for around 2 years, and they enjoy being involved in their youth group & activities.
The children will be in the care of Mel Smithson with help from Keri Haire. We can’t express our gratitude enough for helping us keep these babies full of love and smiles on their faces through such a hard time.
