Trail Care (Volunteering)

We need your help! Raccoon Creek State Park has over 44 miles of trails that are primarily maintained by volunteers. Join us as we help in the upkeep of this beautiful trail system. For this event, we are going to focus on repairing and clearing a section of X-C Ski Trail and Heritage Trail. Please bring a pair of gloves. Tools such as loppers, hand saws, and W**d whips are welcome, and I will have tools that you can borrow and use as well. Those attending should bring water, repellent, and be prepared to hike approximately 1.5 miles.
Meeting at Raccoon Park Rd and X-C Ski Trail Intersection between Beach Area Entrance and Roadside East Picnic Area. This is also called X-C Ski Trailhead.
