The Florida Institute for Forensic Anthropology & Applied Science presents an advanced workshop for medico-legal professionals including detectives, crime scene personnel, medical examiners, coroners, forensic anthropologists and archaeologists. This is an advanced workshop focusing on mass grave excavation and buried bodies in complex multiple or staged homicide cases. Participants will learn to excavate, document, map, sketch, collect, and preserve evidence using human cadavers from the USF Human Donation program located at the USF-FORT (Facility for Outdoor Research & Training) at the Austin Cary Learning Center in Gainesville.
