Hands on History! Here at Panola Mountain State Park this traditional hands-on craft will feature a very special plant native to Panola Mountain – the Spoonleaf Yucca. Learn about the plant and create cordage bracelets out of it's leaves. We will learn to identify the plant, and how to harvest and prepare it for crafting. Pre-registration is required for this event as space is limited. This activity is designed for ages 10+. Call the nature center to register at 770-389-7801, tickets are $10 per person. Participants will meet at the Panola Mountain Nature Center.
