Join Cub Scout Pack 4248 for one of our favorite summer traditions – the Raingutter Regatta – plus water games, fishing, and ICE CREAM! 🍦
This event is for all Scout families and new families interested in joining Pack 4248!
🚤 Recycled Raingutter Regatta
Each Scout will bring a boat made from recycled materials!
Here are the boat requirements:
~ Must fit inside a standard 5-foot
~ Raingutter track (about 2.5" wide and 4" deep)
~ Max boat length: 10 inches
~ Powered by lung power only (no motors or sails—just blow and go!)
~ Keep it lightweight and water-friendly (plastic, foam, corks, etc. are great choices)
💡 Be creative and eco-friendly – part of the fun is seeing everyone’s wild and wacky builds!
🎈 Water Activities
~ Water balloon fun and splash games 💦
~ Fishing at the park pond (🎣 adults must have a valid MO fishing license)
~ 🍦 Ice Cream Treats! Cool down with a sweet treat before we wrap up!
This is a great way for new families to meet the pack and see what Scouting is all about. No uniforms needed – just wear clothes that can get wet and bring:
Your boat
A towel
Water bottles
Fishing gear (optional)
We can’t wait to see you there! Questions? Drop them in the comments or message us directly.
