Public Meeting - City Park Sidewalk Network Project

The City of Liberty is in the design phase of developing sidewalk improvements to provide pedestrian access between nearby neighborhoods and City Park. This project aims to enhance safety, walkability and community connectivity by providing a direct and accessible route for residents of all ages and abilities. Once the design phase is completed, City staff will work to identify funding sources for the projects.

Improvements under design include a crosswalk with ADA accommodations at the Route 291 and Murray Road/Skyline Drive intersection and new sidewalks along:

the east side of Moss Avenue
Route 291
the north side of Olin Street
the east side of Terrace Avenue
the east side of Murray Road
the east side of Skyline Drive

Liberty Public Works will host an open house public meeting on Thursday, August 7, from 5-7 p.m. at City Hall (101 E. Kansas St. Liberty, MO 64068) in the Council Chambers. Come and go as your schedule allows.
