Planning Board Meeting

For the past several months, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to advocate for shelters and rescues to be permitted in the town of Tiverton — because right now, they’re not. This meeting is a huge step toward changing that.

Bajah’s Rescue will be a nonprofit space dedicated to helping Tiverton’s stray, abandoned, and feral cats. We’re not asking the town for funding — many rescues charge between $75–$150 per cat to take in strays, but our goal has never been about money. It’s about getting these cats healthy, vetted, and into forever homes.

If you support animal welfare in Tiverton, please come to this meeting and show your support. Every friendly face helps send a strong message: this rescue matters, and the community is behind it.
