Center Players of Freehold presents Neil Simon's classic comedy about a newly married couple, Corie and Paul Bratter, who have just returned from their honeymoon at the Plaza Hotel in NYC to a run-down 5th floor walk-up. Corie, a free-spirited romantic, is determined to extend the honeymoon while Paul, a straight-laced pragmatist, is focused on his first case as a lawyer. How these two opposites meet in the middle and balance each other out is the heart of the play, which opened in 1963, right before JFK was assassinated and the world caught fire.
