Maritime Roots 25 Banner Making Workshop 1

The Maritime 25 Roots Workshops will look at the Maritime history of Morecambe through the ages, from the very first record of Tall Ships (or before), through the presence of steam ships to the current different types of fishing boats.

These workshops will focus on providing a platform for intergenerational storytelling whilst learning the history of the area at the same time through creative expression. So it doesn't matter what age you are. All are welcome!


The workshops will be running on Thursday afternoons from 24th July - 14th August 1pm till 4pm
