We've worked with artist / illustrator Lucie Cooke to create a beautifully illustrated summer Heritage Trail for children in Darwen Town Centre π€©πΊ
Whether you're a historian in the making or havenβt thought too much about it in the past, the #shopdarwen summer heritage trail is for everyone!
Can you find the 15 different #shopdarwen businesses and the unique, hand illustrated Darwen icon displayed at each one? π
There's a few clues to help you along the way, and to give you some inspiration for local summer holiday activities! π€ΈββοΈ
Collect your free trail worksheet from Sweet Vintage or Darwen Market Hall π Once you've finished, head back to Sweet Vintage for a small prize! π
(You may have to do the trail over a couple of days due to the opening times of each participating retailer π)
The trail will run for the whole of the summer holidays until Saturday 6th September, weβd love to see your photos and videos of taking part β use the #shopdarwen hashtag when posting on social media! π€³
