The Walls Walk

Local history walk this Sunday 27th July - The Walls Walk - come to Lymington and let us tell you something you probably didn't know about Lymington's history. We meet at St Thomas' Church, just by the War Memorial at 11.00am.
This is a popular walk for private groups and visitors with plenty of good local history to get your teeth into. But this walk is open to all – NO NEED TO BOOK - just turn up, find the guide and walk – 90 minutes later we finish in the High Street.
From offering one short walk in 1986, Lymington Town Tours now boasts an enviable repertoire of walks, each offering a fascinating insight into different aspects of life in and around the town. Do you know where Donkey Cottage is? What is a crinkle-crankle wall and why do we have so many in Lymington?
Lymington Town Tours is a not for profit organisation run by volunteer, unpaid guides – but we do ask for a donation of £5 per adult walker (school age children and well-behaved dogs go free) which helps to cover our admin costs and makes up part of our annual charity donation.
See our website for the dates of our other local history walks which run until the end of October (26th) when we host this walk again: lymington-town-tours.co.uk
