On the Road-New Bradwell Parish: Abstract Quilt-making with Ciara Callaghan

From April 2025, Milton Keynes Arts Centre’s programme goes on the road and we are inviting parishes in Milton Keynes to host a series of three 90-minute artist-led creative activities!
Next stop: New Bradwell Parish.

Calling all residents within New Bradwell Parish!
Join artist Ciara Callaghan for an open, hands-on session exploring abstract quilt-making in a relaxed and supportive environment. Using a combination of experimental and traditional techniques, each participant will explore texture, form and design leading to the creation of a small quilt reflecting their own unique style. The finished pieces will be roughly A3 in size (approx. 29.7 x 42 cm / 11.7 x 16.5 in).


All materials are provided, but participants are very welcome to bring their own fabrics to cut up and incorporate into their quilts.

**Please Note, this session is for residents of New Bradwell Parish only, including Bradwell Village, Bradwell Common, Heelands, Bradwell Abbey, and Rooksley.
