Learn the art of Kintsugi Pottery Repair!
Join us at Ormskirk Food & Drink Market on Thursday 28th August at 6pm, and learn the art of Kintsugi Pottery Repair with our host - Graham from Deliveroot.
What's Kintsugi?
The art of Kintsugi is about seeing what's broken and making it matter. You'll work with your hands and think about what it means to fix something, and how the repair becomes part of the story.
What can I expect?
In this class, you'll each have a beautiful ceramic pot and a hammer to break it... once broken, you'll repair the pot using vibrant, gold resin, creating a beautiful new pot. Graham will provide expert guidance throughout the class, so if it's your first experience with pottery, relax, you're in good hands!
What's included in the price?
Your ticket includes the workshop with Graham and your personal pottery art to take home. Plus, our workshop guests can also enjoy an exclusive 20% discount on any food and drink purchased at the Market during the event.
Can I buy food and drinks during the event?
Of course! Our food and drink market has an unrivalled selection of dishes and drinks from our five kitchens and bar, including some sizzling specials for Summer, serving until 9pm!
Spaces are limited, so choose your pottery partners and get it in the diary! Thursday 28th August, 6pm.
