Carlyle Borders Gravestone Dedication & Legacy Celebration

Honor Carlyle Borders, Lebanon High School's first African American basketball player and desegregation pioneer, at his gravestone dedication. The previously unmarked grave will receive a dedication and celebrate his legacy.

The event takes place at Oak Hill Cemetery (935 E Washington St) in Lebanon, Indiana, on Tuesday, August 12th, at 3 PM, marking the anniversary of his 1928 death.

Parking is available at St. Peter's Episcopal Church (950 E Washington St) with Shuttle to the gravesite.
