Please join us Saturday August 9th for a big dino party and yard sale blowout to celebrate and remember our good friend Dr. Fossil!
Edward Lauginiger was a teacher, a paleontologist, a member of the Delaware Mineralogical Society, a volunteer at the Delaware Museum of Natural History and also a HUGE toy collector! Ed especially loved GI Joe, Star Wars & Indiana Jones and had a soft spot for Jurassic Park and dinosaurs in general. He even discovered a new species of ancient animal fossil that's named after him!
We were all incredibly saddened by Ed's passing back in 2017, and would like to invite both those who knew him and strangers alike to celebrate and honor him for his birthday!
Ed often treated kids at the Delaware Museum of Natural History to free dino toys during his presentations, and in his honor we will be doing the same all day (one dino per kid at the counter, while supplies last)!
Don't forget: you can also always meet Ripley the Life-Sized Raptor, who once belonged to Ed, in her habitat outside the store! And we'll also be playing some of Ed's favorite films in-store during the day!
