Pop Up Creek Lesson (with goats!)

The goats are still on the scene over at Harriton Preserve! They are currently munching on invasive vines running along the creek, in preparation for eventual riparian buffer restoration. While they're here, being all cute, we'd love to invite you out to see them in action, and while you're at it, learn a little bit more about the creek we are working to improve.

If you're free on Wednesday, July 22nd, come join us for a casual creek lesson in Harriton Preserve. We will have staff on hand to tell you a little bit about our project and how the goats are helping, talk about our watershed health, and lead you in a hands-on creek lesson where you can learn to look for and identify the macroinvertebrate life in our waterway. It will be fun and informative - great for curious nature lovers, both kids and adults!

Thanks to our Friends of Harriton Preserve partners for the space to teach you all! We will be on site at 6PM, set up along the creek and will stay until about 7. Wear shoes suitable for the water. Hope to see you!
