Step back in time to Illinois during the 1750s. Students practice the barter system used by the French and American Indians to exchange goods. By participating in a trade, students learn and see the benefits of this economic process.
This is an opportunity for homeschooled or remote-learning students to experience Isle a la Cacheβs field trip programs that are normally only offered to school groups.
Fee: Free!
Age: Ages 7-12. Students must be accompanied by a chaperone.

Isle a la Cache Museum is an accessible facility; outdoor activities will take place on paved paths and natural surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online ( https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
