NAMI Family-to-Family Class Comes to Rhinelander
Free Course for Families of Adults with Mental Health Conditions
RHINELANDER, WI β NAMI Northern Lakes will offer its free, evidence-based Family-to-Family education program this fall in Rhinelander. The eight-session course is designed to support family members, friends, and significant others of adults living with mental health conditions.
Classes will be held Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall (upper level) at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rhinelander.
Classes 1β4: August 28 β September 18
Classes 5β8: October 2 β October 23 (pizza to be served at the last class)
(No class on September 25)
NAMI Family-to-Family provides information about a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Participants will learn about treatment options, effective communication, problem-solving skills, and strategies for self-care and advocacy. The course is led by trained volunteers who have firsthand experience supporting a loved one with mental illness.
