Referee Training Clinic

Hello, all! Mike and I will be hosting a referee training clinic at USA Stars on Saturday, August 9, starting at 10:00 a.m. This is open to anyone interested in learning to referee, as well as to any coach who wants to know how referees analyze matches. Things to know:
-referee radios WILL be used. Bring your own (and earpiece) if you have one; if not, we will provide you with a radio
-there is no need to dress up (in the referee uniform, or in a gi). Wear something cool (it’s hot outside, and Stars doesn’t have AC), and that you can move around in easily; students from Stars at various levels of skill/experience will be there for practice matches
-bring something you can use to take notes
Coaches, please pass this around to anyone at your club who might be interested (and to any coach that’s not on this email thread). Feel free to forward any specific questions to me. While there’s no requirement to formally register, I’d appreciate an email just letting me know who might be attending. Thanks!
