Queer Book Club

August’s book is AMMONITE by Nicola Griffith. Published in 1992, this is a science fiction novel that explores themes of gender, sexuality, and cultural adaptation on a planet where a virus has eliminated all men and most women. The story follows anthropologist Marghe Taishan as she travels to the planet Jeep to study its all-female population and the mysteries surrounding their survival.

We will meet at the Pride Resource Center of North Mississippi Sunday, August 17 from 6-8pm.
