In this 6-week encouraging and supportive series you’ll learn:
Common yoga poses, names and benefits, origins of yoga

Each session will include a movement component, alignment corrections, modifications, and keys to smooth, safe transitions

Pranayama (breathing techniques)

You’ll discover how using your breath will affect the constellation of energy that is your body-mind

Practical and useful knowledge

Common yoga terms, types and names, class and studio etiquette, how to choose the right class, the right “gear” and the purpose of props

The structure and tone of the sessions will be informal and welcoming. Come on, let's roll out the mats together!
