2025 MCYFA Player Skills Evaluation

We’ve received a few questions about our upcoming Player Skills Evaluation, so here’s everything you need to know:

📌 Attendance is NOT mandatory.

If your child is returning to the same team as last season, there’s no need to attend.

However, we encourage attendance if your child is:
• 🏈 New to MCYFA
• 🔄 Switching to a different team
• 📚 Moving up a division (e.g., from 2nd to 3rd grade or 4th to 5th grade)

This is a great opportunity for coaches to observe players before the draft — not a tryout, just a chance to showcase skills.

🧪 Evaluation Schedule:
• AFL Division (3rd–4th Grade): 6:30 PM
• NFL Division (5th–6th Grade): 7:15 PM
• Flag Football: No evaluation

📍 Location & Check-In:
• Bloomington South High School – look for the check-in station
• Parents can confirm grade level, t-shirt size, and unofficial weigh-in
• No documents or report cards needed

👟 Football cleats are welcome, but tennis shoes work just fine too!

⚠️ Can’t Make It?
No worries! If you’re unable to attend, your child will still be placed on a team and notified before the season starts.
