Assistive technology solutions and strategies for school, work, home, and life often require navigating various lanes, yield or stop signs, potholes, and intersections. One of the biggest revolves around ethics. This session will drive us through the process of applying decision making models and ethical codes to the work we do. The various roads take in the way we provide services can lead to ethical obstacles which may or may not always be clearly visible. We can apply an ethical lens to the entire process; from decision making models to the CRC Code of Ethics. Primarily a lecture format, case examples will be used to facilitate discussions and decision making using the CRC Code of Ethics.
