Correct Colour Pencil Techniques for Botanical Drawing

Colour pencil is an exciting art form when practiced correctly, and works well with creating beautiful botanicals. In this workshop Sandra will share the tips and tricks she has
used in her botanical drawings.

You will learn:
• How to capture the shape and form of your flower or leaf using basic shapes to start with.
• Working with the correct colour for undertone to create light and dark
• How to achieve clean veins and /or fine hairs
• How to achieve highlights
• The most suitable tools for blending.
• Suitable for all skills level ages 15years+

Materials provided:
colour pencils & paper

Materials participants need to bring:
- HB pencil
