Join the Jane Austen Society of North America in celebrating Jane Austen’s 250th birthday this year as we host a screening of Whit Stillman’s LOVE & FRIENDSHIP on August 4 at 7pm. Based on one of Austen’s earliest works, titled “Lady Susan”, it’s a wonderful example of Austen’s satirical wit and her early genius as a writer. Stillman does a masterful job adapting this wild romp for the big screen.
