Rugelach is a Yiddish word. Some translate the root of the word as ‘little twist’ and it also has links to Polish where ‘róg’ can mean corner or horn. It’s a cream cheese dough normally rolled with a sweet filling such as chocolate or jam. Tasty!
We’ll learn more about Polish Jewish stories from our collection linked to the origin of this small, delightful pastry. You’ll then get to make your own, choosing your favourite filling!
