Spark Curiosity at Home!
Calling all families with little explorers (ages 8 and under)—join VCU School of Education for playful STEAM learning!
Dive into a FREE hands-on, interactive workshop exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) at the Richmond Main Library (101 East Franklin Street) on Saturday, July 26 at 1 PM. No registration is required, but camps and preschools are welcome to join (please email us at ZGF5dG9ubSB8IHZjdSAhIGVkdQ==).
At the workshop, families and children will enjoy interactive STEAM stations, lively discussions on fun themes, and take home a free 'Building Our Self-STEAM' storybook (while supplies last) plus an e-book!
Through hands-on activities and storytelling, we'll show how simple daily routines—like washing dishes, building with blocks, or planting strawberries—can become opportunities for shared discovery and problem-solving at home.
Hosted by VCU School of Education and our Project STEAM researchers, this event uses storytelling, creativity, and teamwork to spark curiosity in young minds—families with children are welcome!
