UBU OVO ONO

Sajmena predstava za sve uzraste

Kazališna trupa OvoOno donosi predstavu UBU OVO ONO, duhovitu, brzu i improvizacijsku posvetu teatru i njegovoj ludosti, inspiriranu predloškom Kralj Ubu.

Ubu This & That

A fair show for audiences of all ages

The OvoOno theatre company is presenting Ubu ovo ono (“Ubu This & That”) – a mischievous and dynamic homage to the silly world of theatre, inspired by Alfred Jarry’s play Ubu Roi (“King Ubu”). This is a comedy play in which audience makes an equal partner in its music, singing, rhythmic movement, and laughs– a “burlesque phantasmagoria” that blurs the distinction between actors and their audience at a frenetic pace.

As the company are trying to play out their version of King Ubu, a series of misunderstandings and competition between them eventually lead to a marvelous theatrical flop that wins the audience over with its candour, brashness, and youthful playfulness. This is a play suited for all generations and performed in the style of fair shows, either in the open, or inside.
