TIMA & PEAVEY present: WABANAKI MODERN
Friday, August 8 from 1-3pm
Participants will meet at the Peavey Library, then walk across the street as a group to visit the Tides Institute & Museum of Art to view the Wabanaki Modern exhibition, a selection of works from the Micmac Indian Craftsmen collective of Big Cove, New Brunswick during the 1960s.
Then they will return to the library where participants will create note cards inspired by this style of design.
All ages.
