2025 KC Disability Pride: Disability Affinity Group

We invite all members of Kansas City’s disability community to attend this meeting, where we will discuss our experiences as disabled individuals. Especially during times of unrest, gathering with community is crucial to combat burnout and despair and to inspire us to advocate for our collective liberation. Topics of discussion may include impacts of oppressive structures on our lives, accessibility or the lack thereof, and visions for our city’s future. Come prepared to practice sensitivity, vulnerability, and cross-disability solidarity.
