2025-26 OPENING WEEKEND - NNLAA - COMPETITION 1 - DERWENT RIVER

The NNLAA is kicking off the 2025-26 season with its annual opening competition on the mighty Derwent River.
Opening weekend is always a highlight and this year will be no exception and with the river fishing relatively quietly during the lead up we're confident that it'll improve before opening morning. Fishing starts at 12 am Saturday August 2 with a weigh in & BBQ at the Rotunda on the New Norfolk Esplanade from 3 pm-3.30 pm on Sunday August 3.
Fishing boundaries are from the Lawitta Pump Station to the Tasman Bridge. A reminder that to fish this event and any event competitors need to be a financial member of the NNLAA before competition starting times and memberships can be purchased online from our Facebook Page, at Williams Outdoors in High Street New Norfolk or by contacting club committee. We're all looking forward to the new season and also encourage all present, past or intending members to come on board and give it a good crack.
