A Boarding School Story: A Lived Perspective

Ramona Charette Klein is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa, Belcourt North Dakota. She is a survivor/conqueror of Fort Totten Boarding School. Ramona will share her experience of being a young child at Fort Totten Boarding School. Ramona serves on the Board of Directors for the
National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition. She works to empower educators and others to learn and understand how the Indian Boarding Schools impacts students and families.
