Veteran Career Planning in Poweshiek County

The IowaWORKS office in Marshalltown has teamed up with the Veteran Service Office to bring career and workforce development services to the community. On the third Tuesday of each month, a career planner from IowaWORKS will be available at the Veteran Services Office from 10am to 3pm on August 19th.
Services that the career planner will provide include IowaWORKS account setup/management, 1-on-1 appointments, career planning, resume development, mock interviews, workshops, skill-based training, NCRC testing, job development, referrals to partner programs and answering unemployment questions.
IowaWORKS Career Services will be held in the Lincoln Savings Bank at 1025 Main St, Grinnell. Those wanting to talk with a Career Planner can arrive for services starting at 10am. For more information, call the VSO Office at (641) 236-5722
