Now that there are kayaks to rent, where do you go? The Bashakill is certainly not your average kayaking venture. Once the vegetation fills in, there are many false leads that can direct you away from the main channel. If you don’t know where you are going, you can get lost. This is your opportunity to go out with an experienced Bashakill kayaker who also happens to be an amazing expert on all the critters that love living in that vegetation. Rent your kayak at MEEC, then meet Walt at the South Rd Boat Launch (across from Bashakill Vineyards). Make sure you give yourself enough lead time so that you are ready to shove off at 2pm.
