This year’s topic is “Better Together: Coalition Building in the Nonprofit Sector.” Through a panel presentation and roundtable conversations, participants will explore how current economic and administrative realities offer compelling opportunities for nonprofits to create alliances for a common cause – including agreements between fellow nonprofits, government entities, education providers and for-profit businesses.
Panelists will be:
- Sharon Chung, Illinois State Representative
- Matt Burgess, CEO at Home Sweet Home Ministries
- Paige Buschman and Rachel Waring-Sparks, ISU’s Center for Civic Engagement
- Patrick Hoban, CEO at B-N Economic Development Council
- Kate Piatt-Eckert, Nonprofit & Grantmaker Advisory at BDO Chicago
- Erik Rankin, IPCF CEO/President, and local nonprofit professional Hannah Johnson will co-moderate the workshop.
Cost is $20 per person or $30 for 2 people from the same nonprofit organization. Register online at https://ipcf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create?event_date_id=1298 by August 6.
A light breakfast (doughnuts, bagels, coffee, tea and juices) will be available at the beginning of the event.
For more information, email Michele Evans, Grants & Communications Director, or call 309-662-4477.
