Rake Iowa 125th Celebration

Rake is celebrating 125 years. Come help us celebrate our Norwegian heritage!

1:00 - Parade starts featuring the Decorah Nordic dancers. (If you or your business would like to be in the parade, please line up on the north end of Main Street by 12:00. No registration fee)

Following the parade:
-Decorah Nordic dancers will preform in front of the Fire Station
-Cornhole tournament (times to be announced)
-3:00 Fireman's water wars
-Bingo (times to be announced)
-Norwegian Lefsa and Kringla for sale (no pre-sale)
-Taco Mago food truck
-Cedar Inn ice cream truck
-Destination DC kids will have a novelties and beverage stand
-Rake 125th Anniversary t-shirts for sale (link in discussion)
-1988 Rake cookbook for sale for $20 (best cookbook EVER!)
-Museum set up in City Hall featuring memorabilia from Mange Takk over the years (if anyone has any items they would like to display or share, please contact Marlys Andersen)

4:00-7:00 Fireman's Sweet Corn feed & meal (Free will donation)
