BE KIND TO YOUR MIND: With award-winning presenter Julia Grace
Hosted by The Salvation Army, at 255 Thames St, with the support of Reach Church; with 4 sessions Friday Night (10th october) and 3 sessions on Saturday 11th October.
This seminar series is for Women (16yrs and over) in the Greater Waitaki region with an empowering message of life, loss, hope and learning which leaves audiences of all ages inspired and equipped with better mental health language for home, work and beyond.
Julia Grace is an International Keynote Speaker in the vital area of Mental Health. As President of the New Zealands Speakers Association, PSA NZ Educator of the Year and an award-winning recording artist, Julia takes audiences across the globe on a unique journey of Story, Science and Song, sharing practical tools from her lived experience with depression and anxiety. With an extensive resume of over 1000 stage presentations on 5 continents over 3 decades, Julia is truly a speaker to remember. Practical, engaging, educational and inspiring, she’ll probably make you laugh, she’ll possibly make you cry, but she will definitely send you away with science-based resources that will help you to Be Kind to Your Mind!
Julia Grace empowers individuals to embrace their mental wellness journey with courage and compassion. Get ready to be inspired!
Come to 1 session or all 4 as you are able. Julia will also be speaking at the Sunday Church service at 10.30am at The Salvation Army if you want to really maximise the weekend.
Each session costs just $15.00 pp and includes light refreshments. Full registration for all 4 sessions just $50.00. Whilst we are advertising this as a Women's weekend, we will open it up to all ages and genders for the presentations on Saturday night and Sunday Morning's Church Service.
Some sponsorship available upon request.
BYO or pay your own lunch and dinner. Restaurants and takeaways are plentiful nearby. Or you can choose to pre-order a packed lunch on registration.
Doors open half hour before each session for registration and merchandise.
